This was a small batch build of 10 power controller PCBs for a prototype electric car project.
Most of the components were surface mount and the boards were hand built, programmed and tested here on Asperö.
This was the second of two embedded software projects completed for the same company in Gothenburg.
The requirement was an embedded application to run on a hardware multiplexer based around one of the Atmel AVR controllers.
The function of the completed module was to sequentially monitor 4 inputs and search for valid DMX data then select the newest available data stream for output to the DMX network.
The application was written in C and compiled with the Image Craft compiler for Atmel AVR.
A company in Gothenburg were building a system for the automatic welding of high power optical fibres (used in LASER welding systems).
The project required working at the customers site to build the control cabinet. The customer provided all of the DIN rail parts, wire and crimps. There was no finished netlist for the job so the work was completed with reference to the circuit diagrams and, where necessary, direct consultation with the system designer.
The job was completed within about 2.5 working days.
This was one of two projects undertaken for a company in Gothenburg.
The requirement was for a converter converting DMX to a proprietary data format / command structure.
